Composites materials have a number of unique qualities, such as durability, UV resistance, chemical resistance and light weight. This makes these materials ideally suited for use as floating water covers.

These BlockFloats, a unique innovation made by VKN, are implemented in water purifying installations, in order to reduce the emission

of odorous water.

BlockFloats function on the principle: no air, no odour. The BlockFloats literally float on water, thereby trapping odorous air under water and not giving it the chance to escape. The BlockFloats can easily carry the weight of a human.

BlockFloats are made exclusively by VKN, with a dedicated manufacturing installation. Currently BlockFloats are being implemented in Europe’s largest new water purifying installation.
